Did you follow the "30 Styles in 30 Days" Challenge?

If you missed it or your are just discovering Her Best Hair, you can find all the posts here → 30 Styles in 30 Days

So I have learned that doing my hair in a different way for 30 days is a lot of work. I did not think it would be this hard. However, I probably made it harder on myself because I tried really hard to create some looks from scratch and to do something very different from day to day. It would have been easy to just do a few buns and change the position but that would not have been fun.

During this process I have learned:

  • some new styles for bad hair days
  • ways to style my hair faster and neater
  • how to translate styles done on other textures so that they work for me
  • some new websites to spark creativity
  • and patience...
I like participating in challenges (even all by myself) because they keep me from falling in a slump and slacking on my hair care practices. My next challenge...Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO) and creating a signature twist-out.

But first....I have a tutorial to do.
