If you are like me you spend most of your day sitting. Sitting and more sitting. I sit for 7+hrs at my desk, drive for 45mins - 1 hour both ways and then sit again to unwind from the day.
I saw this article on CNN and thought it was a great way to incorporate more physical movement throughout my day:
Just about all the people in my (work study) office work out everyday for an hour they all go for brisk walks among other things its really cute not only does it encourage team work but healthy lifestyles as well. I'm really glad you posted this.
ReplyDeleteIt's fabulous that companies are making it easier to get in shape. However, I've never jumped on the lunchtime workout wagon.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, who wants to be all hot and sweaty coming back to work?
Second, after I exercise, the last thing I want to do is work lol I'm looking for some recuperation.
And I know they say get the 30 mins in any way possible--even of you have to break it up into segments--but to me, if you're not getting your heart rate up into the fat burning zone and keeping it there for consecutive minutes, you're not getting the full benefit.
