Kids Casualties of Overeating

12 yrs old and 250 lbs... This story is heartbreaking:



  • Children with an obese parent are 50% more likely to be obese
  • Childhood obesity can take decades off of a child's life
Ways to Help Your Children Stay Active & Healthy:
  • Put down the video games and pick up a bicycle
  • Take walks as a family
  • Encourage your children to get involved in sports and other physical activities
  • Assigned chores that promote physical activity (i.e. yard-work, washing cars, vacuuming)
  • Serve healthy snacks to promote good eating habits early in life
  • BE THE EXAMPLE!
