Flat Twist-out

In exciting hair news...being on maternity leave from work means I get to wear my hair out more. Due to having to wear a headset all day at work, wearing my hair out is not something I got to enjoy often.

After removing the last of my cornrows I gave my hair a much needed shampoo and deep condition. A steaming session would have been nice...maybe next week.

For my twist out I started with separating my hair into three main sections. I did two rows of flat twists in the front sections and two strand twists in the back section.

I opted to do two strand twists in the back because of the thickness of my hair in that section. Flat twists tend to come out frizzy when I do then in the back unless I do really small twists. However, with limited time for style setting it was easier to achieve to look I wanted with two strand twists.

Until next time...
